Hi, I’m Angela.
I teach meditation and sound baths, but more than that, I’m deeply curious about how people actually live inside their bodies and minds.
My work lives at the intersection of science and stillness, creativity and regulation, structure and softness. I’ve studied music, meditation, yoga, and sound healing, and I’ve spent just as much time learning through lived experience, anxiety, creativity, burnout, restlessness, joy, and the quiet moments that rearrange you.
Some days I’m writing from the meditation room, some days from the beach, some days from the middle of real life. I’m not here as a guru or an authority figure, but as someone walking alongside you, asking questions and sharing what I’m learning as I go.
Peaceful Place is an extension of how I teach, how I live, and how I return to myself.
Here’s what you can expect to find here,
Reflections on nervous system regulation and why it matters more than willpower.
Sound healing, meditation, and rest practices that actually fit into modern life.
Creative living, especially how creativity supports healing and vice versa.
Gentle science, research, and lived insight, translated into a cute little substack.
Personal reflections that are honest, grounded, and not overly polished.
If you’ve ever felt like traditional wellness advice made you more stressed instead of calm, or like you wanted depth without dogma, or practices that didn’t require becoming a different person, you’re in the right place.
This space is for people who want calm without bypassing reality, and meaning without pressure.
Why I’m Excited You’re Here
I’ve wanted a space like this for a long time.
A place where thoughts don’t need to be optimized into sound bites, where nuance is welcome, and where rest is treated as something intelligent and necessary, not indulgent.
Substack feels like a slower room on the internet, and I’m excited to build something here together. This will be a living space, evolving as I do, shaped by curiosity, conversation, and care.
If you’re here, thank you.
If you’re staying, I’m really glad.
Welcome to Peaceful Place.
With care,
Angela
May this be a place you return to when you need a little more space, a little more calm, and permission to rest, even for a moment.
